In today's interconnected world, shipping is essential to doing business. It's not just a practical means of transporting things, but also a dependable and inexpensive one. Shipping must be environmentally responsible, safe, and secure in order for the global supply chain to work and for a marine economy to prosper.
The Bangladesh Shipping Agents' Association (BSAA), which is the sole licensed Trade Association for Shipping Agents and is comprised of over 500 reputable members, has been aiding shipping agents of Bangladesh in their efforts to transform the country into a transshipment hub with an environmentally sustainable port-led maritime economy.
The Association inspires and engages shipping agents for national maritime prosperity in addition to resolving challenges and bottlenecks faced by its members and making a beneficial contribution to the Ports and Shipping industry's long-term development in Bangladesh. When representing its members' interests, BSAA does its best to maintain open lines of communication with the Port Authority, the Customs Office, the Shipping Department, and other relevant government agencies. In particular, they take part in any and all discussions or meetings that are held with the purpose of safeguarding the interests of the members.
